Finishes specified for Kharghar, not a template
Kharghar is the newest of our Navi Mumbai localities and the work reflects that. The overwhelming majority of what we do here is inside recently handed-over flats: rebuilding a thin developer finish, correcting the wavy walls and soft edge lines that come from a rushed handover, and doing the decorative feature-wall work that new owners want when they move into a blank flat.
This is our most decorative-heavy locality, and that is a straightforward consequence of the demographics: new flats, new owners, and a wall that has never been anything other than builder white. The Kharghar hills also create a real microclimate on the hill-facing elevations, with more shade and slower drying than the open side, so we treat those walls for damp rather than assuming a new building cannot have a moisture problem.
